Phases of the Moon

A few posts back, I mentioned that we kicked off our science unit on outer space with a fun layers of the earth activity. On Friday we learned about the phases of the moon in a very unconventional way, but the kids sure loved it! The 2nd graders were so tempted to eat their lesson, but I did promise them that once they completed the activity they could have Oreos as a treat - clean ones that weren't used for the lesson!
